Lions' Isa Abdul-Quddus: Records eight tackles

Abdul-Quddus notched eight solo tackles in Sunday's win over the Packers. Abdul-Quddus has been filling in at the safety position after the injury to James Ihedigbo, and he was all over the field on Sunday. Abdul-Quddus led the team in tackles which helped the Lions pull of the upset in Green Bay. He can provide solid IDP value as long as Ihedigbo is still sidelined.

Lions' Isa Abdul-Quddus: Slated to start at safety Sunday

Abdul-Quddus will enter the starting lineup Sunday against the Bears, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports. With strong safety James Ihedigbo (quadriceps) unavailable, Abdul-Quddus will make his first start of the season. Ihedigbo's injury doesn't seem to be viewed as a long-term concern, making it unlikely that Abdul-Quddus will merit IDP attention during what figures to be a short stay in a starting role.
