    Buccaneers mostly healthy heading into Week 8 game

    Linebacker Brandon McGee (knee) is the lone Buccaneers player ruled out for the Sunday game against Minnesota. Cornerback Johnthan Banks (neck) is the only teammate on the Friday injury report not deemed questionable. That group includes linebacker Jonathan Casillas (hamstring), tackle Anthony Collins (knee), safety Dashon Goldson (ankle), wide receiver Vincent Jackson (rib), quarterback Josh McCown (thumb) and defensive back Keith Tandy (hamstring. Goldson and McCown both went from limited in practice to full participation Friday. Jackson has been limited throughout.

    Keith Tandy gets another pick

    Buccaneers defensive back Keith Tandy recorded an interception for the second straight game and the third time this season Week 13 at Carolina, grabbing a pass that deflected off the hands of wide receiver Brandon LaFell midway through the first quarter. Tandy also had one assisted tackle on the day. He has averaged just 1.7 tackles in 12 games this season.

    The Buccaneers are mostly in good shape on the injury report for Week 10 against the Dolphins, as all six of their defensive players on the list are considered probable for Monday's game. They are: defensive backs Danny Gorrer (groin), Dashon Goldson (knee) and Keith Tandy (ankle); defensive lineman Akeem Spence (wrist); and linebackers Mason Foster (elbow) and Dekoda Watson (shoulder).

    Keith Tandy comes down with first career INT

    Buccaneers defensive back Keith Tandy made his presence felt with an interception late in Sunday's contest against the Seahawks in Week 9. With Tampa Bay up seven, Tandy picked off Russell Wilson in the end zone with just under eight minutes remaining in the game. It was his first career interception. He posted five total tackles (two solo) and one pass defended in a 27-24 overtime loss. Tandy has 16 tackles on the year.

    The Buccanneers have officially ruled the following defensive players as active for Week 9 at Seattle despite dealing with injuries: defensive back Mark Barron (hip), linebacker Mason Foster (hamstring), defensive lineman Derek Landri (back), defensive lineman Akeem Spence (wrist), defensive back Keith Tandy (ankle) and linebacker Dekoda Watson (shoulder).

    Buccaneers list seven defenders on injury report

    The Buccaneers defense is dealing with a number of injuries in Week 9 against the Seahawks, based on Friday's injury report. Linebacker Mason Foster (hamstring), defensive lineman Akeem Spence (wrist) and defensive back Keith Tandy (ankle) were all able to get through the week in practice and are probable, but represent less than half of the team's list of injured players. The Buccaneers have four players on the injury report who are considered questionable for the game: defensive backs Mark Barron (hip) and Dashon Goldson (knee); linebacker Dekoda Watson; and defensive lineman Derek Landri (back) were all limited at times in practice due to their injuries.

    Buccaneers mostly healthy on defense Thursday

    The Buccaneers defense is mostly in good shape for Week 8 against the Panthers, as only one player was sidelined due to injury. While defensive back Dashon Goldson (knee) was inactive, four other players were able to play through injuries. Defensive lineman Da'Quan Bowers (toe) and Akeem Spence (wrist), and defensive backs Michael Adams (knee) and Keith Tandy (concussion) were all active for Thursday's game after being listed as probable on the injury report.
