    Saints sign wide receiver Lance Lewis

    The Saints announced Tuesday they signed wide receiver Lance Lewis. The 6-foot-2, 207-pound receiver spent the 2014 season on the 49ers practice squad. Lewis has not appeared in an NFL game since 2013. He has no career receptions.

The other cuts are as follows: running back Jawan Jamison, wide receivers Skye Dawson, Nick Williams and Lance Lewis, tight end Emmanuel Ogbuehi, offensive linemen Tevita Stevens and Xavier Nixon, defensive linemen Chigbo Anunoby, Dominique Hamilton and Ron Brace, linebacker Vic So'oto, cornerback Chase Minnifield and safety Dejon Gomes. Minnifield is the son of former Browns Pro Bowl cornerback Frank Minnifield. The younger Minnifield was projected as a middle-round pick out of Virginia in 2012, but went undrafted before signing with Washington.
