Steelers' Robert Golden: One tackle in loss

Golden had one tackle in Pittsburgh's loss to Denver on Sunday. Golden finished the season with 40 tackles (30 solo) and an interception. Steelers' Robert Golden: Eight tackles on Sunday

Golden had eight tackles (four solo) in Pittsburgh's loss to Baltimore on Sunday. Golden has enjoyed a significant increase in playing time this season, being on the field for nearly 37 percent of all defensive snaps after not playing even 5 percent of the Steelers' defensive snaps in any of his previous three seasons. The eight tackles matched a single-game high for Golden.

Steelers' Robert Golden: First career interception in win

Golden totaled two tackles (one solo) and an interception in Pittsburgh's 33-20 win over Cincinnati on Sunday. Steelers' Robert Golden: Career-best 8 tackles

Golden totaled eight tackles (seven solo) in Pittsburgh's 25-13 win over Arizona on Sunday. Making his first career start, Golden had a solid game. Still, with no sacks or interceptions, and just one fumble recovery in his career, Golden offers little fantasy value.

Steelers DST scores in Week 3 rout

The Steelers DST enjoyed itself Sunday night in Carolina, producing three sacks, two turnovers and a touchdown in a 37-19 win. The biggest play came early in the fourth quarter when the Panthers' Philly Brown fumbled on a punt return and safety Robert Golden recovered in the end zone. It was one of two fumble recoveries for Pittsburgh, which got a sack-fumble from outside linebacker Jarvis Jones. Linebacker Arthur Moats and nose tackle Steve McLendon also sacked Cam Newton. Pittsburgh allowed just 42 rushing yards in what was easily its top defensive performance this year. The Steelers DST has a chance to dominate again Week 4 against the lowly Buccaneers.
