    Bills issue Friday injury report for Week 3

    Rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins has been deemed probable by the Bills for the Sunday game against San Diego. He has practiced in full all week with a rib injury. Also probable are defensive tackle Stefan Charles (hip), tight end Lee Smith (toe), guard Chris Williams (back) and wide receiver Robert Woods (ankle). Linebacker Randell Johnson (knee) and safety Jonathan Meeks (neck) have been ruled out while linebacker Keith Rivers (groin) has been deemed doubtful.

    Bills starting cornerback Stephon Gilmore is inactive for Sunday's season opener against the Bears with a groin injury. Gilmore's absence is a plus for the Bears' talented wide-receiver corps, as cornerback is projected to be the strength of the Bills back seven on defense. Other Bills inactives include running back Bryce Brown, offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, guard Cyril Richardson, safety Jonathan Meeks, tight end Lee Smith and defensive end Jacquies Smith. Anthony Dixon, who was questionable to play with a hamstring issue, is active over Brown.
