Broncos' Brandon McManus: Five points in win

McManus connected on his lone field-goal attempt, a 24-yarder, and hit both of his PATs during Sunday's 17-15 win over the Bears. After hitting multiple field goals in five of the first seven games, McManus is just 2-for-2 over the last three weeks, adding six PATs. The offense moved the ball much better Sunday with Brock Osweiler under center, though they'll likely have a tougher time in Week 12 against the Patriots, which may allow McManus a few more attempts.

Broncos' Brandon McManus: One point in loss to Chiefs

McManus didn't attempt a field goal and connected on his only PAT during Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. The Broncos' offense was dominated Sunday, as they trailed 22-0 heading into the fourth quarter, and McManus has been doing little for fantasy owners, connecting on three field goals in the last three weeks combined. Up next is a Week 11 trip to face the Bears, who are coached by former Broncos head coach John Fox.

Broncos' Brandon McManus: One field goal in loss

McManus connected on his lone field goal attempt, a 29-yarder, and was 3 for 3 on extra points Sunday against the Colts. McManus' streak of kicking multiple field goals ends at four, as he's not 19-of-20 on the season, while also going 19-of-19 on extra points. The Broncos' offense hasn't been nearly as dominant this year as in season's past, but McManus is still likely to get enough opportunities to keep him a viable option in most fantasy formats. Up next is a Week 10 home game against the Chiefs.

Broncos' Brandon McManus: Accounts for 14 points in win

McManus went 4-for-5 on his field goal attempts, connecting from 29, 25, 39 and 34 yards while missing from 51 at the end of the first half, and 2-for-2 on extra points Sunday against the Browns. McManus' miss was his first this season, and he's a solid 16-for-17 through six games, though fantasy owners will have to look elsewhere in Week 7, as the Broncos are off before facing the Packers in Week 8.

Broncos K Brandon McManus stays perfect on the season

Broncos kicker Brandon McManus was 3 for 3 on his field goal attempts, connecting from 33 twice and 39 yards, while hitting both of his extra points Sunday against the Vikings. McManus is a perfect 9-for-9 this season on field goals and 10-for-10 on extra points. The Broncos' offense hasn't been as prolific this season as most of last, but it's still good enough for McManus to continue to be a solid fantasy kicking option.

Broncos release Connor Barth; Brandon McManus wins job as PK

The Broncos released kicker Connor Barth on Wednesday. Barth's departure solidifies Brandon McManus as the starting placekicker for the Broncos. Barth supplanted McManus as the kicker on field goals and extra points after 10 games in 2014. Barth hit 15 of 16 field goals down the stretch, but McManus was added back to the roster after Barth struggled on kickoffs in his first game. Although, special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis studied what plagued McManus as a rookie and feels his struggles were easily explained. "He's just like any other player -- young," DeCamillis said Aug. 18, per the team's official website. "Unfortunately, you look at kickers and they should make everything, right, whoever they are. If they haven't done it a bunch yet, they're going to have those hiccups. You have to be able to come back from it and hopefully he did." McManus connected on 9 of 13 field goals last season. He was 41 for 41 on extra points.
