Falcons' Nick Williams: Suits up Sunday

Williams (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Williams - who has nine catches for 98 yards in seven games to date -- is in uniform Sunday, but with the likes of fellow wideouts Julio Jones, Roddy White and Justin Hardy also on hand, he's not a high-percentage fantasy play in Week 9.

Falcons' Nick Williams: Probable for Week 9

Williams (hamstring) is listed as probable for Sunday's game in San Francisco. Williams will likely serve as the No. 5 wide receiver, providing depth behind Julio Jones, Roddy White, Justin Hardy and Eric Weems. Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) has been ruled out.

    Falcons' Nick Williams: Limited Wednesday

Williams (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice. Williams was a game-time call Sunday against the Buccaneers, but inactive status meant that he was unable to take advantage of Leonard Hankerson's (hamstring) own absence. With another limited practice to start this week, Williams' status could again be up in the air for Sunday's game at San Francisco.

    Falcons' Nick Williams: Inactive Sunday

Williams (hamstring) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Buccaneers. After managing two limited practices during the week, Williams' absence is somewhat surprising, but he'll join Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) in street clothes, which should afford Roddy White and even Justin Hardy a decent target count.

    Falcons' Nick Williams: Game-time decision

Williams (hamstring) will be a game-time decision to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Williams was limited in practice Wednesday and then sat out Thursday's session, leaving the status in limbo ahead of Sunday's divisional contest. With No. 3 receiver Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) already ruled out, Williams could benefit from overcoming his own injury in time to play, but fantasy owners will have to sweat out his availability until Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff.

Falcons' Nick Williams: Doesn't practice Thursday

Williams (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday. After making a limited showing Wednesday, Williams was held out Thursday, which may be an indication that a padded practice took place, but head coach Dan Quinn could clear up Williams' lack of practice in short order. Williams' availability is of utmost interest this week with Leonard Hankerson sitting out both Wednesday and Thursday. However, one practice remains to prove their respective levels of health.

Falcons' Nick Williams: Limited in Wednesday's practice

Williams (hamstring) was limited at Wednesday's practice, the Falcons' official site reports. After Leonard Hankerson aggravated his hamstring injury Sunday in Tennessee, it was next man up on the Falcons, and Williams stepped into the void, corralling three of five balls for 43 yards. Considering he's posted 10.9 YPC on his nine catches, he likely requires volume to make an impact for fantasy purposes, and such an opportunity could arise Sunday against the Buccaneers, if the Falcons opt for caution with their No. 2 wideout.

Falcons' Nick Williams: Catches 3 Balls in Win

Williams caught three balls for 43 yards in Sunday's win over the Titans. Williams saw a spike in playing time after Leonard Hankerson exited the game with a hamstring injury, and he looked good, catching three of the five balls thrown his way. If Hankerson misses games with the injury, Williams is the likely beneficiary of a bump in targets. He's worth keeping an eye on.
