    Cundiff was released by the Bills on Tuesday. Cundiff was signed last week with Dan Carpenter slowed by a knee injury, but it appears the team is not as concerned about Carpenter's health heading into Week 6. The Bills signed quarterback Josh Johnson to take Cundiff's place on the roster.

    The Browns have released Billy Cundiff with an injury settlement and signed former Saints kicker Garrett Hartley, per the team's official website. Cundiff sprained his knee in practice Thursday and was ruled questionable for Week 15 prior to the roster move. He missed a kick in each of the previous five games. He converted 22 of 29 kicks this season.

    Browns' Cundiff, Dansby questionable for Sunday against Bengals

    Browns kicker Billy Cundiff (knee) and linebacker Karlos Dansby (knee) are both questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Cundiff, who injured his knee in Thursday's practice, is 22 for 29 on field goals and a perfect 28 for 28 on extra points this year. Coach Mike Pettine said Friday the team has a contingency plan in place if Cundiff is unable to go.

    Browns kicker Billy Cundiff booted a 37-yard field goal as time expired Sunday, lifting Cleveland to a 26-24 win Week 12 at Atlanta. The game-winner was Cundiff's fourth made field goal. He had field goals of 33 and 37 yards in the second quarter, and a 32-yard field goal in the third quarter. Cundiff did miss a 60-yard field goal at the end of the first half. He had two extra points Sunday and finished with a season-best 14 points. He has managed 10 or more points in three of his last five games. The Browns are back in action Week 13 at Buffalo.

    Browns kicker Billy Cundiff hit one field goal Thursday against the Bengals. Cundiff received his first chance with about four minutes left in the second quarter. He managed to convert, hitting from 32 yards out. Cundiff would get another chance in the middle of the fourth quarter, but couldn't convert. He missed from 44 yards out. Cundiff did manage to add three extra points. Cundiff will take on the Texans Week 11.
