He was held out of Saturday's practice, and is officially considered questionable for Monday's game against the Patriots.     Drayton Florence returns one for score

    Signed in late September to help out in obvious passing situations, Panthers defensive back Drayton Florence came through with a big play Week 9 against the Falcons, intercepting quarterback Matt Ryan early in the fourth quarter and returning it 38 yards for a touchdown. It was Florence's first interception of the season and his first touchdown since 2011. He had two tackles on the day, including one solo.

    Panthers shuffling lineup at cornerback

    Panthers coach Ron Rivera said cornerback Josh Thomas will return to the starting lineup Week 5 at Arizona after sitting out Week 3 vs. N.Y. Giants with a concussion. Though, Rivera said Melvin White and Drayton Florence will remain in the mix for playing time. "We're not going to forget about the other guys. White and Florence have to play, they need opportunities," he said.
