Broncos' Andre Caldwell: Totals 22 yards in Super Bowl 50

Caldwell caught his lone target in Sunday's victory over the Panthers for 22 yards. Caldwell's sideline catch came on the Broncos' opening drive and helped set up a field goal lead that they never relinquished. Caldwell caught just 10 passes in 14 games in 2015, but recorded a reception in each of Denver's three playoff matchups. They may be his last as a Bronco. With Cody Latimer already on the books for 2016 and younger options to retain in free agency including Bennie Fowler and Jordan Norwood, Caldwell may be the odd man out.

Broncos' Peyton Manning teases Demaryius Thomas for skipping workout

As expected, Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas skipped QB Peyton Manning's offseason passing workout at Duke University last week. Thomas was tagged by the team, keeping him off the free agent market, and he's in the process of negotiating a long-term contract with the Broncos. He intends to work out on his own until the deal is done. Manning spent the week throwing to Broncos pass catchers Owen Daniels, Andre Caldwell, Emmanuel Sanders, Cody Latimer and Virgil Green. Manning poked fun at Thomas by photoshopping him into a group picture, taken at Duke after a workout.

Andre Caldwell likely ahead of Cody Latimer

Even though the Broncos drafted rookie receiver Cody Latimer in the second round of the NFL Draft, Andre Caldwell is still expected to be No. 4 on the depth chart, reports the Denver Post. The Broncos will go with Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker and Emmanuel Sanders as their Top 3 receivers, and Caldwell will be No. 4 ahead of Latimer. The report says Caldwell will be the kickoff returner as well, and Latimer is still trying to recover from a foot injury.
