Colts S LaRon Landry not set to return as starter

The return of just-activated Colts safety LaRon Landry does not necessarily translate into his reinstatement as a starter, per ESPN. Chuck Pagano believes that move could take time. "What we're going to do is kind of just stick with the plan," he said. "Keep letting him get his legs underneath him. ... We'll just continue to put him there, see where he's at, evaluate him from a physical standpoint, mental standpoint. Any time you're away from the game and you're not out there for an extended period of time, it takes a little bit of time to get back. We'll just evaluate that situation on a daily basis." Replacement Sergio Brown has performed well. He totaled two pass deflections in the Monday night defeat of the Giants. The Colts are 4-1 with Brown as a starter, but Landry is in the second season of a four-year contract worth $24 million.
