    Terrell Thomas wants to be a starter next season

    Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas came back from two straight seasons lost to torn ACLs to play well in 2013, making 67 tackles with one interception and five pass breakups. The 29-year-old impending free agent, who played mostly in the slot, told the New York Daily News he wants to be a starter next season. "At the end of the day, whether it's at safety, corner, nickel, I want to start, 16 games, every game, contribute every game I can," Thomas told the paper. "I want to get back to my old ways." Thomas said he benefitted from the Giants' managing his practice and game reps, and that he should thrive in 2014 following a healthy offseason. "We had a plan, we executed it," he said. "It turned out great. Now it'll be different."
