Dolphins' Cameron Wake: Placed on injured reserve

Wake (Achilles) was placed on season-ending IR on Saturday, Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com reports. The Dolphins will be without their best pass rusher for the remainder of the year as a result of a torn Achilles' tendon, suffered in Thursday's loss to New England. Derrick Shelby is expected to replace Wake in the starting lineup for Miami.

Report: Dolphins DE Cameron Wake out for season

Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake has been diagnosed with a torn Achilles and will miss the rest of the season, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Wake suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Thursday's loss to the Patriots, and will not take the field again until 2016. This is a tough break for both the Dolphins and Wake, who had tallied his seventh sack in three games Thursday prior to exiting. With Wake sidelined, Derrick Shelby and Terrence Fede figure to see more pass-rushing opportunities for the Dolphins moving forward.

Dolphins' Cameron Wake: Taken off on a cart

Wake was taken off the field on a cart early in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game. Wake seemed to injure his left leg. This would be a big loss for the Miami defense as Wake has come up with seven sacks in the last three games. He was hampered earlier this season by a hamstring injury but it was thought that he was completely healed following the team's bye week.

Dolphins' Cameron Wake: Has two more sacks Sunday

Wake recorded two more sacks as the Dolphins defeated the Texans on Sunday. That now makes six sacks in his last two games. Wake credits the bye week for allowing him to completely heal from his hamstring injury. He is now back to terrorizing opposing quarterbacks.

Dolphins' Cameron Wake: Has big day in win over Titans

Wake had a huge game with four sacks as Miami beat up on Tennessee 38-10 Sunday. Wake was pretty much a one man wrecking crew as he constantly made life difficult for rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota. The sacks were his first of the season and would seem to indicate that he is completely on board with the new coaching staff.

    Dolphins' Cameron Wake: Active Sunday

Wake is active Sunday against the Titans. Wake will take the field in search of his first sack of the season. He was limited in practice all week, but should be good to go following the team's bye week.

Cameron Wake (hamstring) cleared to play for Dolphins in Week 3

Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake (hamstring) is active Sunday against the Bills. Having Wake on the field will help the Dolphins try to contain Tyrod Taylor, especially when trying to keep him in the pocket.

Dolphins DE Cameron Wake has practiced without limits

Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake (hamstring) has practiced Wednesday and Thursday, reports Miami Herald's Armando Salguero. Wake was only on the field for 15 plays in Sunday's loss to Jacksonville but the fact that he is practicing in full this week would seem to indicate that he should be in line for a full day's work against Buffalo this week.

Dolphins activate Cameron Wake for Week 2

Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Wake's presence boosts the Dolphins' Week 2 pass rush, but he had a quiet Week 1, failing to record either a tackle or a sack against Washington.

Dolphins DE Cameron Wake is questionable for Week 2

Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake is questionable for the game Sunday due to a hamstring injury, according to the Miami Herald. Wake was able to practice on a limited basis Friday so that bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday although he may only participate on passing downs.
