    Lions middle linebacker Stephen Tulloch has apparently made good on his claim that he has fully recovered from ACL surgery undergone in 2014, at least if his effort Tuesday is any indication. The team website is stating that Tulloch was a full participant in the OTA session. "I'm doing everything," he said. "I'm able to run around and make calls and make checks and get back to being a middle linebacker." Tulloch suffered a bit of embarrassment in Week 3 a year ago when he sustained the season-ending injury celebrating a sack of Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Tulloch was mimicking the move used in Rodgers' "Discount Double Check" commercials. "I feel great," Tulloch told the team website. "...I have a good team of people down in Miami that take care of me. They've gotten me back to a point I can train with the team. I can lift weights and run around. It feels good to be back out there again." Tulloch contributed to more than 100 tackles in five consecutive seasons before going down in 2014.

    The Lions' Stephen Tulloch will start at middle linebacker again once he returns from the torn ACL he suffered Week 3 last year, reports MLive.com. "He's highly experienced and highly productive," coach Jim Caldwell told the website. "And he's a great leader." Tulloch, 30, is progressing well in his rehab, the report said, but it's unclear when he'll return. Tulloch had 135 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2013, his last full season. Tahir Whitehead likely will fill in until Tulloch returns. Whitehead had 86 tackles and two interceptions last year.
