    Bears cut three players Saturday

The Bears have waived quarterback David Fales and released cornerback Kelvin Hayden and fullback Tony Fiammetta, reports. The team is dealing with multiple injuries to starters on the offensive line and at wide receiver, necessitating the roster juggling in advance of Week 2's matchup with the 49ers. Fales (shoulder) and Fiammetta (hamstring) had already been ruled out for Sunday's game. The team will likely send Fales to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • Bears add CB Hayden

News: The Bears passed on the chance to sign cornerback Kelvin Hayden last season, and he inked with the Falcons instead. This time, the Bears didn't pass, signing him to a one-year deal.
Analysis: Hayden is expected to provide some quality depth in the Bears' secondary but not put up a lot in the way of stats. Leave him off of Fantasy rosters.
  • Hayden placed on IR

News: Atlanta moved DB Kelvin Hayden (toe) and LB Mike Peterson (undisclosed) to injured reserve on Tuesday. Hayden was signed by the Falcons as a free agent before the start of the season and suffered a dislocated toe in Week 11 against Tennessee.
Analysis: Hayden appeared in eight games this season and racked up 27 tackles and two interceptions. He wasn't a huge Fantasy contributor and should be left untouched in all formats.
  • Hayden injures leg in Week 11

News: DB Kelvin Hayden injured his right foot/leg in the second quarter of Atlanta's game against Tennessee on Sunday and was helped from the field. Moments later Hayden was carted off to the locker room. Hayden is Atlanta's nickel back and has two interceptions this season.
Analysis: Hayden finished with two tackles before leaving in Week 11 but given his role with the Falcons, he should be ignored in the majority of Fantasy IDP formats, healthy or not.
