    CB Antoine Cason losing season to foot surgery

    Free agent cornerback Antoine Cason is out for the year after undergoing surgery on his right foot, which he revealed in an Instagram post. "Had surgery this morning to fix an ongoing problem," he wrote. "Due to the surgery I will miss the 2015 season. Tough decision but it was one that needed to be made and I am home and well!" Cason was a full-time starter for Carolina last season before his release after allowing six touchdown passes. Oppoosing quarterbacks completed 56 of 70 passes against him for a 122.2 passer rating, per Pro Football Focus.

    Ravens unveil Week 15 inactives

To make room for Cason, the Ravens are expected to place cornerback Danny Gorrer on IR, reports the Baltimore Sun. Cason has appeared in 12 games for the Panthers this season, but was waived Dec. 2. The Ravens will host the Jaguars Week 15.

    Panthers cornerback Antoine Cason came down with his first interception of the season in his first game with his new team Sunday against the Buccaneers. Luke Kuechly batted a pass thrown by Josh McCown and Cason benefited with an interception in the first quarter. Cason led the team with nine total tackles and two defended passes in a 20-14 victory.

    Antoine Cason comes up with three turnovers, touchdown

    Pressed into action due to Tyrann Mathieu's season-ending injury, Cardinals defensive back Antoine Cason had a day to remember Week 15 at Tennessee. He intercepted Ryan Fitzpatrick twice, returning the first 20 yards for a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter. Cason then picked off Fitzpatrick in overtime, setting up Arizona's winning field goal. Earlier Cason recovered a fumble off Arizona's pooch onside kick starting the second half. Cason added four tackles. He'll visit Seattle in Week 16.

    Cardinals DST scores again

    For the third time in five games, the Cardinals DST returned an interception for a touchdown. This time it was defensive back Antoine Cason picking off Tennessee quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and returning it 20 yards for a fourth-quarter score. The Cardinals gave up season highs of 34 points and 460 yards, but forced three turnovers and got three sacks. Cason was responsible for all three turnovers, intercepting two passes and recovering a fumble. The Cardinals DST gets a tougher matchup Week 16 at Seattle.
