    Rams DE Chris Long returns to practice

    Rams defensive end Chris Long was able to practice on Tuesday after missing the first three days with a back issue, according to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The veteran is expected to anchor a strong defensive line this year after playing just six games last season because of an injury. Long 51 1/2 career sacks in seven seasons in St. Louis.

    Rams will have Jenkins, Long and Wells for finale

    Rams coach Jeff Fisher told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that defensive end Chris Long was "a little sore" but otherwise fine after Sunday's win over the Raiders. In Long's first game since undergoing foot surgery, he had six tackles, two for loss, to go with two quarterback hurries, a sack and a fumble recovery."We'll probably rest him Wednesday," Fisher said. "But he was really excited. He'll be the first to tell you he's not 100 percent yet, but he really had a blast playing. It was great to get him back." Long and the Rams visit Washington on Sunday.
