Broncos' Aqib Talib: Finishes with team lead in picks

Talib collected 45 tackles, three interceptions, 13 passes defended and two touchdowns in 2015. He added 14 tackles and six passes defended in the playoffs. Talib started off the season on fire, with three picks, two of which were returned for touchdowns, in Denver's first six games. He never hauled in another pass for the rest of the season and missed Denver's worst game of the year - Week 10 versus Kansas City - after poking Dwayne Allen in the eye in Week 9. Talib, combined with Chris Harris Jr., T.J. Ward and Bradley Roby is a major factor in Denver's "No Fly Zone," often taking on the opposition's most physical receiver. Talib's ball skills makes him a constant threat to take one back to the house. Is tendency to play a tad out of control makes a potential suspension right around the corner.

Broncos' Aqib Talib: One-game suspension upheld

Talib's one-game suspension stemming from his actions near the end of Sunday's loss at Indianapolis was upheld Tuesday, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports. Talib interfered with an confrontation between teammate Von Miller and the Colts' Dwayne Allen, whose eye the cornerback poked in the process. Now that the suspension is confirmed, the Broncos will be without both Talib and DeMarcus Ware (back) on Sunday against the Chiefs. In Talib's place, the Broncos will turn to Bradley Roby at cornerback, while Kayvon Webster will cover nickleback.

Broncos' Aqib Talib: Draws one-game suspension

Talib is in line to be suspended for one game for poking tight end Dwayne Allen in the eye during Sunday's loss to the Colts, reports. While Talib plans to appeal the ruling, at this stage it looks like the Denver defense will be minus two key cogs in Week 10, with star outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware expected to miss 2-4 weeks of action.

Broncos' Aqib Talib: Scores another TD

Talub had two tackles and returned an interception 63 yards for a touchdown Sunday against the Browns. Talib has been excellent this season, as he has actually scored as many touchdowns as running backs C.J. Anderson (zero) and Ronnie Hillman (two) combined. His three interceptions are just one fewer than he's had in both of the last two seasons, though his tackle total is off pace from last season's 64. Up next is a huge Week 8 game against the Packers following the Broncos' Week 7 bye.

    Broncos' Aqib Talib: Active Sunday

Talib (ankle) is active Sunday against the Browns. Taleb suffered the injury last weekend against the Raiders, which held him out of practice Thursday and Friday, but he'll give it a go Sunday, as he'll get extra time to recover with the Broncos off in Week 7.

Broncos CB Aqib Talib questionable for Sunday vs. Browns

Browns cornerback Aqib Talib (ankle) practiced Friday and is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns. Talib injured his ankle during last weekend's game against the Raiders, which prevented him from practicing both Wednesday and Thursday. With the Broncos' bye week looming after this Sunday, Talib will have an opportune rest period soon, but it's unclear if that will come after playing or not against the Browns.

Broncos CB Aqib Talib unable to practice Wednesday

Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday. Talib missed a portion of the second half of this past Sunday's game against the Raiders with an ankle injury, but was able to return to the contest, which suggests that he has a decent chance to suit up this Sunday against the Browns.

Broncos CB Aqib Talib limited at practice Wednesday

Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Andrew Mason of reports. Talib was able to join his team on the field, but did not participate in individual drills with the Denver secondary. The 29-year-old did exit last Sunday's game against the Raiders with an ankle injury, but was able to return later in the contest. While his practice status Wednesday is a tad alarming, his status for Week 6's game against the Browns will likely be decided later in the week.
