    The Chiefs have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with string safety Tyvon Branch on Tuesday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reported that the deal could be worth a max of $4 million, with a base salary that incldes in-game bonuses of $2 million. "We are excited we were able to reach a deal with Tyvon and bring him to Kansas City," general manager John Dorsey said in a statement. "He is a physical player who we feel can help our defense. We're looking forward to having him." The 28-year-old Branch has played seven seasons in the NFL, totaling 476 tackles, 20 passes defensed and four interceptions in his career. He will now stay in the AFC West, after he was released bu the Raiders last week.
