    Packers re-sign FB John Kuhn to one-year deal

    The Packers re-signed fullback and fan favorite John Kuhn to a one-year, $870,000 deal, according to his agent Kevin Gold, per the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Kuhn's deal also includes workout and Pro Bowl bonuses. Kuhn, 32, has spent eight of his nine seasons with the Packers, rushing for 591 yards and 18 touchdowns. As a receiving option, the fullback has 76 receptions for 516 yards and eight touchdowns.

    The Packers are still interested in signing fullback John Kuhn to the roster, reports the Journal Sentinel. When head coach Mike McCarthy was asked if Kuhn still has value, he replied, "Absolutely." "I've always looked at the fullback and tight end position as one.     Packers get offensive contributions on MNF

    The Packers got several big contributions in their 43-37 win over the Falcons on Monday night. Tight end Andrew Quarless caught three of four targets for 52 yards, including a 30-yard gain on 3rd-and-17. Rookie wideout Davante Adams caught one of four targets for 6 yards. Fullback John Kuhn had a 4-yard rush and a 6-yard catch. They'll all visit the Bills in Week 15.

    Packers backup pass catchers don't do much Week 12

    The Packers backup pass catchers didn't do much Week 12 against the Vikings. Andrew Quarless pulled down two catches for 50 yards. He finished third on the team in receiving. Davante Adams had one catch, gaining 10 yards. John Kuhn also had one catch, picking up 9 yards. Richard Rodgers only had 1 yard, but had the biggest impact of the bunch. In the second quarter, he hauled in a 1 yard touchdown from Aaron Rodgers. The bunch will look for more Week 13 against the Patriots.

    The Packers got a slew of contributions in their Week 11 blowout of the Eagles. Among them, tight end Andrew Quarless caught both his targets for 35 yards, and tight end Richard Rodgers had a 19-yard grab. Running back James Starks carried eight times for 9 yards and caught two passes for 17 yards. Fullback John Kuhn added a 3-yard carry. Backup quarterback Matt Flynn completed both his attempts for 26 yards. They'll all visit Minnesota in Week 12.

    Packers fullback John Kuhn entered Week 5 with two carries on the season. He doubled that tally and wasn't much of a factor in a 42-10 victory over the Vikings on Thursday. Kuhn got all of his touches after halftime. On the opening drive of the third quarter, he caught a pass from Aaron Rodgers for a 3-yard gain. It was his only catch of the night. Four plays later, he took a handoff for a gain of 3 yards. He finished with two carries for six yards in a 42-10 victory. The Packers will travel to Miami to face the Dolphins in Week 6.

    Packers backup running backs contribute despite small role

    The Packers backup running backs managed to play a role despite limited carries Thursday against the Seahawks. John Kuhn played his normal role, sneaking in a touchdown from two yards out. It was Kuhn's only carry of the game. He was not targeted in the passing game. DuJuan Harris also managed one carry during the contest. He picked up 7 yards on his only rush. Both players will take on the Jets Week 2.

    The Packers will re-sign fullback John Kuhn to a one-year deal worth just over $1 million, reports Fox Sports. Kuhn ran 10 times for 38 yards and a touchdown and caught 13 passes for 81 yards last season.
