Redskins' DeSean Jackson: Scores on deep ball against Giants

Jackson was targeted four times during Sunday's win over the Giants, snagging two passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. Jackson split the seam of the Giants' defense early in the second quarter for a 63-yard score, Washington's first touchdown of the game, his second deep scoring reception in as many weeks. Since returning to the lineup in Week 9, Jackson has as many catches as fellow starting receiver Pierre Garcon, 12, but has tallied more yardage, 212 to 158, targets, 23 to 20 and touchdowns, two to nothing. Expect Jackson to continue to hold a slight edge over Garcon as the season continues and for his deep speed to translate into more production when the ball finds its way into his hands.

Redskins' DeSean Jackson: Long touchdown catch versus Panthers

Jackson caught five of his eight targets for 87 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Panthers. Although the bulk of his production came on a 56-yard score in the first quarter, Jackson was able to produce his best game of the season, leading the Redskins in targets and yards. Jackson finally appears to be fully healthy and he should see his share of targets on a weekly basis. He is a threat to produce a big play at any time, and will look to build on this performance against the Giants in Week 12.

Redskins' DeSean Jackson: Fully recovered from hamstring injury

Jackson has declared he is fully recovered from a hamstring injury that kept him out prior to last week, the Washington Post reports. Jackson should not be hindered by the injury from here on out. Jackson caught two passes in Week 10 including a 42 yarder on the opening drive. He is expected to start opposite Pierre Garcon and should be a top target from here on out.

Redskins' DeSean Jackson: Only 44 yards in rout of Saints

Jackson caught two of five targets for 44 yards Sunday against the Saints. Fantasy owners were licking their chops with a Week 10 matchup against one of the league's worst pass defenses, but unfortunately Jackson wasn't able to produce much despite quarterback Kirk Cousins passing for 324 yards on four touchdowns. In fact, Cousins had only five incompletions in the game, with three coming on throws to Jackson. Cousins' touchdowns went to tight end Jordan Reed (two), running back Matt Jones and wide receiver Jamison Crowder, and he's only looked Jackson's way 11 times in the last two games. Given Cousins' ability -- or preference -- to spread the ball around, Jackson's upside appears to be somewhat limited. Up next is a tough Week 11 trip to Carolina.

Redskins' DeSean Jackson: 15 yards in return

Jackson (hamstring) caught three passes on six targets for 15 yards Sunday against the Patriots. Playing for the first time since Week 1, Jackson did very little to make an impact Sunday, though the plus is that he didn't seem overly bothered by the hamstring issue. He'll look to bounce back in Week 10 against a Saints defense that has allowed the most receiving touchdowns in the league this season.

Redskins WR DeSean Jackson will play Sunday

Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game in New England. Suiting up for the first time since Week 1, Jackson could be an immediate asset for Washington, who are apt to be in catch-up mode early and often. Over the past three contests, the Patriots have allowed at least 16 catches per game and four touchdowns to wide receivers.

Redskins' DeSean Jackson: Expected to face Patriots

Jackson (hamstring) is expected to play Sunday against the Patriots, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jackson is officially listed as questionable but said earlier this week that he intended to play for the first time since suffering the injury back in Week 1. There hasn't been any talk that he will be on a play count at all, so Jackson could be in for a busy day with the expectation that the Redskins could be playing from behind.

Redskins' DeSean Jackson: Officially questionable for Sunday

Jackson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Jackson said earlier in the week that he intends to suit up for the first time since Week 1. However, he never made it back to a full practice, only logging limited sessions throughout the week. If Jackson does return, Ryan Grant will be bumped from the starting lineup and likely surrender most of his snaps. Either way, Kirk Cousins should be in for a busy day while likely playing from behind.

Redskins' DeSean Jackson: Limited again Thursday

Jackson (hamstring) was limited at Thursday's practice, Tarik El-Bashir of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports. For the second day in a row, Jackson was active in individual drills, as he continues his quest to play for the first time since Week 1. Indeed, he stated after Wednesday's practice session that he "intends" to suit up Sunday in New England. If he does so, quarterback Kirk Cousins would enter the second half with his primary receiving threats intact.

Redskins' DeSean Jackson: Limited in practice Wednesday

Jackson (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday. Sidelined since Week 1 due to a nagging hamstring injury, Jackson participated in Monday's practice session, after which he implied that he practiced fully. His activity level Wednesday likely sheds light on his conditioning more than anything, but everything seems to be lining up for his return to the field Sunday at New England. Nevertheless, owners should continue to keep a close eye on his status as the week proceeds.
