Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith (suspension) was reinstated to the Chiefs' 53-man roster on Tuesday. Smith completed his three-game ban that was levied after he was arrested on a DUI charge over the summer. He should immediately slide back into a starting role for Sunday's game against the Bengals, upgrading a Chiefs secondary that was routinely gashed by the Packers' Aaron Rodgers in a Week 3 loss.

The 2009 second-round pick is entering his seventh season in the NFL. He spent the first four years of his career with the Dolphins and the last two with Kansas City.

Chiefs starting cornerback Sean Smith has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and has been slapped with two years probation, according to court documents, per the Kansas City Star. Smith was cited in June not only for the DUI, but for careless driving and failure to present insurance after an officer allegedly watched him drive into a light pole in downtown Kansas City.

On the team's final injury report of the week, the Chiefs list defensive end Allen Bailey(concussion) as out for Sunday's game. Bailey missed last week's game as well. Cornerback Phillip Gaines (concussion) is considered as doubtful. Linebacker Tamba Hali, who participated on a limited basis Friday, is questionable for Sunday with a knee injury. Hali missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. He has five sacks and three forced fumbles this year. The following players are listed as probable: Husain Abdullah, Donnie Avery, Jamaal Charles, Anthony Fasano, Junior Hemingway, James-Michael Johnson, Joe Mays, Chris Owens and Sean Smith.
