  • Thomas records sack for Bolts

News: San Diego DL Cam Thomas recorded his second sack of the season on Sunday versus Denver. That was the only sack the Chargers would get on Tim Tebow. Thomas finished the day with three tackles, two solo. San Diego would lose the game, 16-13, in overtime.
Analysis: Thomas now has 12 tackles and two sacks on the season for the Chargers. Unfortunately those numbers aren't good enough to give him Fantasy value in IDP leagues. Leave him on waivers.
  • Thomas records first sack

News: Chargers DL Cam Thomas recorded his first career sack in Week 11 against the Broncos. It was his only tackle in the 35-14 win.
Analysis: Thomas was a fifth-round pick out of North Carolina, who is used mostly as a run stopper. He doesn't rack up a ton of tackles or sacks and does not stat consistently enough to be used in the majority of IDP leagues. Leave him on the waiver wire heading into Week 12.
  • Thomas signs on line for Chargers

News: The Chargers have agreed to a four-year contract with fifth-round pick DT Cam Thomas.
Analysis: Thomas, out of North Carolina, made 23 tackles last season, blocked a kick and was credited with three quarterback pressures. Thomas also got three sacks in the Senior Bowl. Thomas has a chance to play right away, but he will be more of a space eater than a play maker. Don't plan on drafting him in the majority of leagues, and his best asset will be helping the Chargers improve their run defense.
  • Chargers draft DT Thomas
