Power Play (Money Back) Guarantee for CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner:
It is CBSI's intention to provide the best fantasy sports league management services available anywhere. We want to earn your business and keep it. If for any reason the CBSSports.com user who pays for the 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product (the "Commissioner") is unsatisfied with the CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product experience, CBSSports.com will refund the fee paid for the 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner League (the "League(s)"), subject to the following conditions:
The Commissioner requests a refund any time through the later of: (i) 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Monday, November 25, 2012; or (ii) the end of week 4 of the 2012-2013 NHL season.
Commissioner's League is in compliance with the 2012 CBSSports.com Hockey Commissioner Terms of Use.
Refunds will not be provided to individual "team owners", only to a Commissioner that wishes to discontinue a League. There will be no partial refunds.
Refunds will be credited to Commissioner's credit card account used to pay for the League's fee.
Refunds will be processed as soon as the refund request is authenticated by CBSI's Fantasy Support Staff. When a refund is processed, the associated League will be discontinued (i.e. it will no longer be accessible for use).
To request a refund, please contact CBSI's Fantasy Support Staff. The Fantasy Support Staff can be contacted by the Commissioner through the Help menu in the Leagues' page. Once in the Help menu, click Help Center (to verify authenticity of email refund requests, follow-up contact will be required before the refund is processed).
CBSI reserves the right to discontinue and/or alter the Power Play Guarantee at any time.
IMPORTANT: Due to the NHL season being scheduled to play, the special "Power Play Guarantee" detailed below, created if the 2012-2013 NHL Regular Season is shortened or cancelled, is expired as of January 7, 2013 at 1:00:00 EST. All leagues purchased prior to this date are covered by the "Power Play Guarantee" detailed out below.
In the event the twenty-five (25) week 2012-2013 NHL regular season is shortened:
(i) CBSI shall issue a credit or refund to Commissioners of existing 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Leagues (the "League(s)"), to be processed as detailed below, for every week of the twenty-five (25) game weeks per NHL team in the 2012-2013 NHL regular season that is not played. (By way of example, if the 2012-2013 NHL regular season of twenty-five (25) game weeks to be played per NHL team, is shortened by four (4) weeks, wherefore the 2012-2013 NHL regular season consists instead of twenty-one (21) game weeks to be played per NHL team; the Commissioners shall receive a credit or refund, for the four (4) game weeks not played). The credit or refund will consist of a prorated amount equal to 1/25 of the price paid by Commissioner for the 2012-2013 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product. (By way of example, the credit or refund is calculated as follows: Commissioner purchases a League at the full price of One Hundred and Forty-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($149.99) the credit or refund comes to the amount of Six Dollars ($6.00) per game week (149.99 ÷ 25=6.00). If the 2012-2013 NHL regular season is shortened by four (4) game weeks, multiply 4 by the amount per game week of Six Dollars ($6.00) this comes to the amount of Twenty-Four Dollars ($24.00) ($6.00 x 4= $24.00). In this example, CBSI will give a credit or refund to the Commissioner in the amount of Twenty-Four Dollars ($24.00)). "Commissioner(s)" means CBSI's users who have purchased a 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product.
Commissioners shall automatically receive a credit towards the purchase of a 2013 Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product for the applicable amount, if any.
Refunds shall be issued subject to the following conditions:
Commissioners must request a refund at any time before the Power Play Guarantee expires.
Commissioner's League must be in compliance with the 2012 CBSSports.com Hockey Commissioner Terms of Use.
Refunds will only be provided to the Commissioner of a League.
Refunds will be credited to Commissioner's credit card account used to pay for the League's fee.
Refunds will be processed as soon as the refund request is authenticated by CBSI's Fantasy Support Staff.
To request a refund, please contact CBSI's Fantasy Support Staff. The Fantasy Support Staff can be contacted by the Commissioner through the Help menu in the Leagues' page. Once in the Help menu, click Help Center (to verify authenticity of email refund requests, follow-up contact will be required before the refund is processed); and/or
(ii) Resulting in a season with eleven (11) game weeks or less, the 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product will be free for Commissioners and CBSI shall issue a credit or refund to the Commissioners of existing Leagues in an amount equal to the amount paid by the Commissioner for the 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product, as described above.
In the event the 2012-2013 NHL regular season is cancelled, CBSI shall issue a credit or refund to the Commissioners of existing Leagues in an amount equal to the League's fee amount paid by the Commissioner for the 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product. (By way of example, if a Commissioner paid the full League's fee for the 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product in the amount of One Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($149.99), such Commissioner shall receive a refund, to be processed as detailed above, in the amount of One Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($149.99); if a Commissioner paid the Pre-Pay Offer fee for the 2012 CBSSports.com Fantasy Hockey Commissioner Product in the amount of Ninety-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($99.99), such Commissioner shall receive a refund, to be processed as detailed above, in the amount of Ninety-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($99.99)).
The Power Play Guarantee is not applicable if a League is purchased after a delayed or shortened season is announced by the NHL.
CBSI reserves the right to discontinue and/or alter the Power Play Guarantee at any time, such discontinuation and/or alteration shall in no way affect a Commissioner who has qualified for the Power Play Guarantee, as of the date of discontinuation and/or alteration. The Power Play Guarantee is valid through the later of the conclusion of the 2012-2013 NHL regular season or April 13, 2013.
