AHL Binghamton Terminates Bertuzzi's PTO

Bertuzzi was released from his professional tryout offer with AHL Binghamton on Wednesday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.Bertuzzi developed a knee issue shortly after he began playing with Binghamton, ending his quest of resurfacing in the minors. He'll likely take some time off to recover from the injury, but it's not known if he plans to consider another comeback bid.
