Vermette has contract offers from five NHL teams with a decision to be made Monday, agent Allan Walsh reports.

Vermette had his contract bought out by the Coyotes earlier this month in an effort to save the club $2.5 million in the upcoming season -- that made him an unrestricted free agent. Given that he's a proven offensive contributor who's won a Stanley Cup, having done so with the Blackhawks in 2015, it's no surprise that Vermette is getting bites on the open market. It's not clear which teams are lobbying for the veteran, but it sounds like that announcement is imminent.
