Varlamov will start in net Wednesday night versus Ottawa.
Varlamov played quite well in his last start, earning a win and giving up just a single goal to the Jets. Still, he hasn't been terrific this year, and his 3.05 GAA and .894 save percentage reflect as much. The matchup with the Senators isn't great either, as they've scored a decently high average of 2.90 goals per game this season and have wins in their last two games.
