Avalanche's Tyson Barrie: Garners assist in loss

Barrie dished out an assist Tuesday in a 5-3 loss to the visiting Predators.

He also fired four shots on goal and received a team-high 24:29 of ice time, but he skated to an ugly minus-3 rating, making it a mixed bag of results for Barrie in this one. Getting back to the bright side, however, the rearguard has gotten on the scoresheet four times in his last five contests, bringing him up to 10 points in 21 games -- a 39-point pace. That'd be well short of the 49 and 53 points he's managed in the last two seasons, but he's moving in the right direction.
