Sedlak signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Blue Jackets on Wednesday.

Sedlak has been one of the leading scorers for AHL Lake Erie during their Calder Cup run as he's tallied six goals and five assists in 12 playoff contests so far. The center added an additional 18 points during the regular season. A sixth round pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, the 23-year-old has yet to see action at the NHL level, but may have shown enough this year to earn himself a call-up or two during the 2016-17 campaign.
