Werenski picked up two assists with two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Islanders.

He extended his point streak to five games, during which the rookie rearguard has two goals, five assists, a plus-4 rating and 15 shots on goal. Werenski now has 46 points (11 goals, 35 assists) on the season, putting him just five points shy of James Wisniewski's franchise record for a defenseman with 12 games remaining on the schedule.
