Blues' Alexander Steen: Maintains point-per-game start

Steen assisted on the Blues' lone goal in Tuesday night's 2-1 overtime loss to the Canucks. He added two hits, two penalty minutes and one shot on net in a forward-high 22:29 of ice time.

After undergoing shoulder surgery this past summer, Steen's availability to start the season had been iffy, but the versatile forward rehabbed hard and got himself ready. And that's a good thing for the Blues. Steen has at least one point in each of the first four games. While a point-per-game pace over the full season may be a reach, Steen could challenge his career high (64 points in 2014-15) if he stays healthy and continues to skate on a line with Vladimir Tarasenko.
