Blues' Jake Allen: Falls in overtime to Vancouver

Allen turned aside 24 of 26 shots Tuesday but it wasn't enough as the Blues were beaten 2-1 in overtime by the Canucks.

The Blues have been doing a great job limiting shots in front of Allen this year, as he's now faced just 66 shots in three starts -- two of which were wins. With Brian Elliott now in Calgary, the starting reins finally belong solely to Allen, so even though the 26-year-old didn't get in the win column Tuesday, owners should be encouraged by the early results.
