Bortuzzo, who has started the last five games, could be removed from the starting lineup when Joel Edmundson (upper body) is ready to return, Jeremy P. Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Edmundson has missed 10 games, but he was a full participant at Tuesday's practice and could be ready to play Thursday against Tampa Bay. His return means either Bortuzzo or Carl Gunnarsson will be a healthy scratch. "He's a lot better offensive player than people give him credit for," coach Ken Hitchcock said of Bortuzzo. "Good play with the puck, better play without it. He's in control defensively. Better positional play, not running after contact, seems like the game's slowed down to him." While filling in for the injured Edmundson the last five games, Bortuzzo has a goal, an assist, 17 shots on net, eight hits and 10 blocked shots.
