Upshall is a candidate to be removed from the lineup when Jaden Schwartz returns from an ankle injury, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Schwartz's return is imminent and, given the Blues' recent stretch of offensive futility, needed. He gives St. Louis more offensive upside than Upshall, who has six points in 43 games. Ironically, Upshall is coming off a game in which he didn't have a goal or an assist, but drew two penalties that led to St. Louis goals.
