Rattie opened Tuesday night's game in a top-six role, but was quickly dropped to the third line in the overtime loss to the Canucks, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. He finished with one shot on net in 8:02 of ice time.

Rattie's prime-time assignment lasted only a handful of shifts before he got stapled to the bench by the end of the first period. When the second period opened, he was swapped out to the third line while Nail Yakupov moved up to a line with Paul Stastny and Robby Fabbri. With Jori Lehtera (upper body), Kyle Brodziak (upper body) and Jaden Schwarz (elbow) all in various stages of injury recovery, Rattie could find himself in the lineup once again Thursday in Edmonton.
