Tarasenko was held off the score-sheet once again in Monday's Game 5 loss to the Sharks. He had one shot on goal in 18:44 of ice time.
After rolling up 13 points in the first two playoff series, when he averaged 3.5 shots per game, Tarasenko is the lone St. Louis forward without a point in the Western Conference Finals. Monday night was the second consecutive game he's gotten off one shot on net and he has a total of just 12 through five games. The Blues will need Tarasenko, a 40-goal scorer in the regular season, more than ever when they face elimination in Game 6 on Wednesday in San Jose.
