Bolts Invite Goalie Irving To Camp

Irving will attend the Lightning's training camp on a tryout invite, reports the Tampa Tribune. He played last season with Jokerit in Finland.His numbers were good overseas -- he delivered a 23-18-12 record with a 2.14 GAA and .922 save percentage in 55 games. Competition will be stiff -- the duo at the NHL level is set and so is the AHL pairing, so he'll need to stand on his head to displace another twinetender.
