Morrow was recalled from AHL Providence on Wednesday, Mark Divver of The Providence Journal reports.
Morrow finishes his three-game stint in Providence with a goal, two penalty minutes, and a plus-1 rating. The Boston offense has been rolling under coach Bruce Cassidy and Morrow has potential to pick up on this momentum should he see an uptick in playing time with the big club. Morrow's recall could also serve as an indicator that the Bruins might deal a defenseman on trade deadline day, but that's far from a certainty.
