Bruins' Krug Looks To See Bigger Role

Krug is hoping to step into a bigger role on the Boston blue line following the offseason trade of Dougie Hamilton, the Boston Herald reports.Krug managed to record 39 points in 78 games last season, while working mostly on the Bruins' third defensive pairing and as a power-play specialist. However, with Hamilton no longer in the mix, a top-four role is Krug's for the taking and with the potential for a bigger role this season, the 5-foot-9, 181 pounder's already respectable fantasy numbers could see something of an uptick.
