After absorbing what the Boston Herald describes as "a hard snap shot from Patrice Bergeron off his head" late in Thursday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers, Beleskey had to be helped off the ice.
"I don't have an update on Matt. He's a hard-nosed kid and hopefully he's all right," coach Bruce Cassidy said afterward. "That's very unfortunate for him." Until his status is updated further, consider Beleskey day-to-day in advance of Monday's road game against the Maple Leafs. The gritty winger has recorded just three goals and eight points over the course of 40 contests in what has been a bumpy campaign for the 28-year-old to date.
