Trotman appears to be on track to crack the Bruins' lineup on a regular basis this coming season, the Boston Herald reports.Trotman, who split time between Boston and AHL Providence last season, is now working on a one-way contract, so it would be a surprise if he isn't on the big club's roster to start the season. On the heels of a 2014-15 campaign in which he recorded five points in 27 games for the Bruins, Trotman is only an option in deeper formats, but he's among the team's young blueliners who will be counted on to help fill the void created by the offseason departures of Dougie Hamilton and Matt Bartkowski.
