Canadiens' Alexander Radulov: Made available for expansion draft

Radulov was made available by the Canadiens for Wednesday's expansion draft, TSN reports.

Radulov is coming off a very strong season in Montreal, totaling 54 points in 76 appearances in 2016-17. The 30-year-old signed just a one-year deal with the franchise, however, so he is set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. If selected by the Golden Knights, Radulov and the team would have to agree to a new contract by July 1, but if not, he would be on the open market and free to sign a deal with the team of his choice.
