Canadiens' Shea Weber: Team leader in ice time

Weber leads Montreal with an average of 26:46 of ice time through two games. He's gone plus-3 with two assists, seven hits, three blocked shots and four shots on goal.

Weber may have the biggest skates to fill in the NHL this season, replacing the very popular P.K. Subban in hockey's hottest hotbed. Entering the Canadiens' home opener Tuesday, Weber has delivered the kind of steady play that was his trademark in Nashville. Gradually, the fans in Montreal will appreciate his style of hockey as much as they did Subban's.
