Canadiens Sign Dowell To AHL Deal

Dowell signed a one-year deal with AHL Hamilton on Monday.Dowell, 29, made one NHL appearance with the Wild last season, spending the bulk of his season with AHL Iowa. He registered 19 points and 56 PIM over 57 games with Iowa, and will function as organizational depth for the Canadiens.
