Canucks' Ryan Miller: Ruled out Tuesday

Miller (undisclosed) will not be available for Tuesday's game against the visiting Blues, Elliotte Friedman of HNIC reports.

A separate source familiar with the situation -- Irfaan Gaffar of Sportsnet -- was told by Canucks coach Willie Desjardins that the starting backstop is "a little tight." While there's some ambiguity in that description, the apparent issue was serious enough for the club to call up Matt Hewitt from the University of British Columbia. Hewitt reportedly will back up Jacob Markstrom on Tuesday, while Miller is bound to be evaluated further in the coming days.
