Connolly will make his 2016-17 debut Tuesday against the Avalanche, Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post reports.

Connolly will spell Zach Sanford on the third line alongside Lars Eller and Justin Williams. The sixth overall pick from the 2010 draft signed a one-year deal with Washington in the offseason and will look to build on a career-best 25-point campaign with the Bruins last season, but will need consistent ice time to do so. His fantasy value in standard leagues remains capped for the time being, but Connolly's worth a look in daily formats against an Avalanche team that may be weary after having played the night before.
