Johansson notched a pair of power-play assists in a 3-0 win over the Avalanche on Tuesday.

He got the secondary helpers on Alex Ovechkin's tally in the first period and T.J. Oshie's in the second, giving the Swede three assists in three games to open the new season. After three straight years of point totals in the mid-40s, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect out of Johansson, but it's worth noting that his scoring rate ticked up a bit last year and his minutes are up a little in the early going. Maybe this will finally be the year he breaks 50 points.
