Coyotes' Alex Goligoski: Collecting assists, but struggles on defensive end

Goligoski notched two assists -- one on the power play -- but went minus-2 in Tuesday's loss to the Senators.

He's now gone minus-4 despite racking up three helpers in two games. Goligoski may have been the most defensively responsible blueliner in Dallas last year, but that wasn't saying a whole lot; now he's arguably the best defender on the Coyotes, which may be a markedly worse situation. Despite some fine up-and-coming skaters, Arizona doesn't have the high-end offense that Dallas brings to bear. Look for Goligoski to clear 30 points easily and probably ramp up his power-play production, but that plus-minus (so good last year at a career-best plus-21) is probably going to suffer in the desert.
