Gordon (upper body) has been placed on the injured reserve, the NHL's official media site reports.
Boyd was able to skate Monday but remains "weeks away," so the move was basically just a procedural one. He's scheduled to have another evaluation later in the week, so it's possible the club will have a clearer idea about the ailment then.
