Coyotes' Dylan Strome: Notches assist in first NHL action
Strome got into the lineup Tuesday and picked up his first career point -- the primary assist on Tobias Rieder's game-opening goal -- in a 7-4 loss to Ottawa.
He didn't play a particularly impressive brand of center, losing nine of 12 faceoffs and managing only a single shot on goal, but Strome has a boatload of offensive talent. After all, we're talking about a 19-year-old kid who's put up a ridiculous 240 points over his last two junior seasons. After scratching him for their season opener, the Coyotes are likely to continue looking for ways to fit Strome into their lineup.
